"Don't act like the character, become the character"

I'm from my old house,
Huron River Dr. Outrageous childhood memories
come back alive
my brother and I, partners in crime
our swing set and swimming pool,
worth every dime
I'm from making mud pies in the rain
and seeing Crauncy form afar
loved feeling big and free,
sitting on top of daddy's blue car
my first dog, now is gone
puzzles with mom, and singing kid songs
the smile on mom's face watching Haden and I
lay by the brick fire place
little events in my life summed up to
happiness beyond
Picking flowers, and watching daddy mow the lawn
My childhood I miss everyday
I just want to go back with Haden and Play
Some day I will visit that old house
and until then, I can not wait
I will grab my camera, get a ride,
and jump over the big white gate
My childhood was like a dream,
no doubt mine was the best
I could never thank my parents enough
sometimes I want to go back,
but I have to stay tough
"I'll wave to you from the clear glass window, Dad."

This poem has a ton of meaning behind it. You really have to "read between the lines." This poem talks about my childhood, which I miss a lot.
