Foward To Tomorrow
Forward To Tomorrow
The stars above, spinning
mindlessly, have become a pillow
that cradles my restless mind.
Timely specks of the purest white
known to man peek through the
blinds and wish away the dust.
The blackness behind such hopeful
glimpses are where my thoughts have
been.
My sentiments - fitted to a frame
and shipped up toward the biggest
black hole my imagination could manage.
And just when it seemed like
there was nothing left-
nothing in all creation that could
mend yet another bruised knuckle,
The sun was
swallowed whole
by the faintest reminder - that even
in the grayest of places-
Tomorrow will always bring light.
