Ticked On...
I’m trapped in a room
With a padded lock
This windowless dungeon
Just me and a clock
And I don’t know how to feel
All I can see is the numbness
All I can hear is the scream
From my very own mouth
I was hoping you’d come
To save me from my Hell
But as the clock ticked on
And my patience fell
I knew I’d have to save myself
I didn’t want to have to do this
But you left me no choice
So here I sit
Trying to pull myself up
But the devil on my shoulder
He tells me to stay put
As he promises you will come
But the clock ticked on
