Seizing every one of my senses
Your malevolent bourbon gaze devoured me
And I knew then the words you would choose to thrust upon me.
It was a song I already knew by memory,
But still it took me by surprise (as it always does)
When you became ready to pounce
Like a cobra lying lazily on hot cement
Who ever so suddenly
