Nightmare

March 12, 2010
By Anonymous

In a nightmare, I see a girl.
Crying, in a corner.
Razor blade in hand with bloody wrists.
She wants to speak but no words come out.
choking on her words with a broken heart.
I want to leave.
Never wanting to witness her pain.
I scream.
LOUDER,
than
LOUDER.
It wont go away.
Than I realize I can't wake up from my own nightmare.

Very touching poem but scary in a way (I guess that's why it's called 'Nightmare'.) It's a bit short but that adds to the meaning of it.
