The Painful Reminders That We Are

If you took away my pain
Songs of this lost memories
I would dance a different beat
But..
As we are dancing to these lies
For we are broken and fake
I am the sorrow
You are the cutter
We try to dig deep
But we are shallow
Drowing in a deep pit of ourselves
Who do we think we are
We are fallen from the sky
We hide from
The truth within us
For we are crazy
We are very lost my dear
We try to put on the mask
Of hidden mental anguish
I try to find my way to the ball
But Heaven is a few miles away
I feel the sting
The real pain called life
Its bitter and its so sweet to taste
I try to hold on this last bottle
I'm losing this battle of being
Focused and breathing
I'm losing this battle of being
Alive and whole

This poem is about having everything you wanted but still having nothing and still feeling unhappy.
