started sensing that feeling that i needed space so i took off down the street
fished my headphones out of my pocket but their broken, guess its just the natural beat of my feet
guess its just the natural beat

started feeling the rhythm of the birds and the bees and the wonders of the forgotten world
so i called her by her given name maryjane and
tried to spit a ryhme about that girl
tried to spit a ryhme about that girl

listened to the radio and its sad to say but it turns out the people lied
felt the happiness draining, its a cage in training so for the sake of laughter i cried
for the sake of laughter i cried

saw a lonely man sitting and playing guitar with a frown spread across his face
dropped a few coins in his case he said thank you sir now i can get out of this place
now i can get out of this place

saw a woman leave her house and slip down the steps and get up with a scraped knee
she looked up at the sky and said i thank you lord now i know what it feels like to bleed
now i know what it feels like to bleed

i told myself to just take a closer look and it turned out my life was grand
but still i had to ponder it plus some other so i sat down and thought in the sand
so i sat down and though in the sand

i sat for hours witch turned into day but really was in the blink of an eye
i came to a place of contentment in imaginary bliss but then i came to the question why
but then i came to the question why

why do we fight against something just to reach nothing and why are we scared of love
why do we run from our fears even when they don’t exist and was budda just a man on drugs
and was budda just a man on drugs

and when I reached out to grasp it I started to slip and I fell into the visibly unseen
within one sureal moment i knew i had lost it and thought
maybe it was all just a dream
maybe it was all just a dream

I got up and walked until I came to a spot that caused déjà vu to start kickin in
Flashbacks of happiness unsurpassed
While indulging in heavenly sin
While indulging in heavenly sin

A flicker of a smile stole my expression as I looked up at the man on the moon
Glanced at the stars, their so close that their far and thought
Jesus I’ll be there soon
Oh, jesus I’ll be there soon

Follow the leader, but not too close, just in case they fall.

This amazing. It's mellow but thoughtful. I love how you repeat every last line- it's something way different than what most people do, and me I wouldn't do it cause I dislike writing repeatative lines so close together- but the way you have done it is so perfect. This is truly a work of art. God Bless you:)
