No more creamy and crunchy texture of an Oreo ice cream cake
The melt in your mouth texture of an angel food cake would be cut off
Tasting the three layers of a triple Decker cake one after another would be a fantasy
The feeling of waking up to the fresh smell of a cinnamon coffee cake would be deceased
Cupcakes for the little ones will perish
The memory of waking up to freshly made hotcakes and syrup will vanish
Your mailboxes will not receive fruitcakes during the holidays
No funnel cakes to buy at the carnival
What would we do with all the frosting?
What would we eat with our tea?
A world without cake
Is not a world for me

The author's comments:
I really like cake, so i decided to write a poem about how terrible it would be without it
