I wear a smile everyday,
Sometimes the pain goes away.
He once held my heart,
But dropped it to the floor.
At night, I wait,
For my blankets to wrap its arms around me,
Keep me comforted.
I am like broken glass.
I can’t hold this salty water in.
My heart is broken.
It was never, and will never be healed.
He hurt me…bad…

I am in love, with this one special guy.
He made me feel amazing!
Like I was finally important to someone,
Yet…I’m not good enough for him.
All I do is cry and cry, for him.
Everything has to do with him.
It hurts to know that he’s everything to you, but your nothing to him…
I am broken inside…
This hurts, it gets worse and worse.
This pain has to go away,
My pain grows everyday.
And when I hear the wind whisper in my ear,
‘Everything will be okay.’
I feel whole again,
for one more moment in my life.
I feel like a pair of shoes,
Wanted but when out of style,
Thrown away.
No longer good enough,
Tossed away like no harm done.
No longer needed in their life.

I’m as dark as the cold night,
Feeling more and more darkness overtaking my body,
I feel cold and alone.
Will you love me?
That is my question.

Am I good enough yet?
My heart is broken, its slicing into my veins like a razor.
