Favorite Quote:
"One bright day in the middle of the night
Two dead boys* got up to fight [*or men]
Back to back they faced each other
Drew their swords and shot each other

One was blind and the other couldn't see
So they chose a dummy for a referee.
A blind man went to see fair play
A dumb man went to shout "hooray!"
[or: And two lame men came to carry them away]

A paralysed donkey passing by
Kicked the blind man in the eye
Knocked him through a nine inch wall
Into a dry ditch and drowned them all

A deaf policeman heard the noise
And came to arrest the two dead boys
If you don't believe this story’s true,
Ask the blind man he saw it too! "-i have no idea who actually wrote this poem but it was quoted on the movie "Haunting In Conneticut."

Hold me for one moment
just a moment please
let me step back
and look at this pretty picture
the one of you and me
sweet, easy, simplistic
let me look for one more moment
just one moment please
now let me put life around it
let me see it from realities eyes
the man I'm with
the women you let between us
in the first place
I had my chance i left you
But i never lost my feelings
the love i had for you
then when i was ready
you put her between us
was i wrong to step back
and watch from the side lines?
But lets not think about that now
let me forget the past
leave the present
ignore the future
let me erase the life
so the picture mirrors
just you and me
sweet, easy, simplistic
let me admire this scene
for just one moment
just one moment please
Hold me closer
wrap your arms around me
let your soft lips trace
the bone of my cheek
but only for a moment
just one moment please
time is running out
you know i can't stay long
reality is catching up
and i will eventually have to
choose if me and you
is right or wrong
for now i choose a medium
i love another
and i need you as a friend
so yet again i turn and leave
tears wetting
the cheek your lips have touched
washing away your gentle kiss
and as i turn and walk
i wonder what would have happened
if i had stayed
for one more moment
just one moment please
