Horses
Horses:
While sinking deep in the saddle you feel like anything can happen.
Flying up in the air like you’re an angel without wings
Galloping through cornfields and praries and looking down to see the flying dirt 30 feet behind you
The reins flying loose in between your fingers
The sound of oats being chewed while stopped to catch your breath that got left behind
The feeling your heart gets when going faster than the wind
When you tumble into the dirt after diving down and brush your sweater off
Walking back into the stall to say goodbye and kiss your horses soft warm nose
Feeling like your someone who no one else knows who you are while alone in that field.
Waiting 24 hours to feel that way again
That’s the feeling of a true rider
