Such a contradiction
That is what I am
Longed to be loved
But push away anyone who tries to break through my barriers
But it makes sense you see
I give them all a chance
Every
Single
One
If they care enough
If they are brave enough
They will tear down my walls
Just to steal my cold heart of glass
Hoping not to get cut by the sharp edges
If they handle it with such grace and care
I might just throw the heart in the furnance,
I might just melt it for them,
I might just let them see what truly is inside
