Proud?
They tell me to be proud,
from underneath their rainbow banner.
Proud of being different I'm told,
but what's the point?
As well be proud of brown hair or green eyes,
than proud of being different from other guys.
This difference is just a part of me, who I am.
Why relish it, have pride in it,
enjoy or love it?
To me it's just part of life,
why even notice it at all?
It's just something that is,
I'd think it rather small.
I don't feel pride about this difference,
I don't feel anything at all.
