Halfway to anywhere
I’ve dreamt so long, I thought I couldn’t dream anymore, then you appeared. Took my hand and calmed my fears.
Soon we’ll be halfway to anywhere, no longer will love only mean a word. It will become everything. Take this key and un-lock my heart, my guard is shattered, please come in and stay.
No one knows who we are here, we’ll begin our story, let’s start this life all over again. You and me, come on, we’ve only got tonight, but that’s all that we need. Don’t look back you’re safe now, “Promise me forever,” I plead.
I’ll take you there if given the chance.
I’ll take you there if given the chance….
By morning’s light we’ll be where were meant to be.
I promise you this.
