I wake up to find your nowhere near
I wonder if you really do care
I stay up to find you’re really gone
Is it my fault you left
I lie up holding my pillow tight
Sitting here on my bed crying all night
Something I shouldn’t be doing
I always thought of you as my fairytale
But when you’re old enough to realize
Fairytales aren’t real it really does hurt.

This piece is about my dad. Him and my mom divorced when i was four and it still hurts to this day
