Child of Mine
I’m a daughter, to a woman who puts me before the world.
I’m a sister, to a girl who’ll stand up for me when it’s most needed.
I’m a niece, to a lady who is always checking up on me.
I’m a granddaughter, to a woman who takes care of me.
I’m a best friend, to the girl who’s helped me through it all.
I’m a mother, to an unborn child, who will one day become a daughter, sister, aunt, niece, granddaughter, friend. I will raise her around these people, for they are the best examples of who I would like her to be.
