Marrow

Through the walls
through the core of the earth
through the electronic fences where
cameras conspire
a bleeding girl screams -
wounded buried in the street
it pierces through the cries of
Allah O Akbar in defeat
it pierces hope like needles
through flesh
through veins
through bone
it draws out the marrow, leaving
hollow
silence
revolution

This evidently had a lot of thought put into it. It was a little bit disturbing to think about, but hey, I'm not all for poetry about butterflies and flowers. This was good, and I'm pretty sure this wasn't meant for the reader's enjoyment. it was meant to make the reader think. Thanks for your insight.
