you let go.
When I said yes,
you said no.
When I had a smile,
you had a frown.
When I was up,
you were down.
When I looked into your eyes,
you looked away.
When I asked for tomorrow,
you ended today.
When I tried so hard,
you had to quit.
When I put the puzzle together,
you wouldn't fit.
When I wanted you back,
you moved on.
When I looked for you,
you were already gone.
When I was quiet,
you wanted to shout.
When I fell in love,
you stumbled out.
