\"There is always some madness in love. But there is also always some reason in madness.\"
Friedrich Nietzsche

Cold, huddled within ourselves
Words like ice, making us feel less and less
Numb, our hands reach for the top
Come, tonight’s not the night to give up

Frozen, stares leap out at us
Icy, eyes see only lust
Tears, the world to cold to let them fall
Blink, back away from it all

A thousand goodnights, and you still aren’t here
How can you be so far, but yet so near?
Afraid, to be alone
Wanting, to call you home

Safe, I fall into you
Never questioning, what I try to do
So many voices, screaming right at me
I hide beside you, no one ever sees

Don’t let them get to us
Hurt, please don’t recall
Cause if they take away anything
I’m afraid we’ll lose it all

Love, I am always here for you
Safety, in numbers two
Stay, don’t leave me here alone
Fearful, in a world so cold
