oh little girl
wanna know why I envy you
so innocent and happy
not a care in the world
god, what I’d give up
to go back and be a little girl
to you the world is perfect
every stranger is a friend
to you life’s a circle it never ends
to there is no crime
no passing of time
no counting the minutes to the bell
you have no lies
no secrets to tell
to you I’m crazy for hating my life
being so lazy
but one day
you’ll grow up and see
one day
you’ll grow up
and become like me
