The Rock

The rock
Of my life is Jesus Christ.
Because of Him I am saved.
He died to cleanse me,
He cleansed me of my own sins.
Because of Jesus, I am alive!
He comforts me when I’m scared,
He feeds me when I’m hungry,
He provides water when I thirst.
Because of Jesus Christ,
My life is secure.
Just because Christ is in it.
He secures my life,
Protects me from harm,
Clothes me when I run naked.
Christ is the rock,
The rock upon which my life stands strong.
Jesus Christ supports me forever.
