“Ambrosia”
Groggily sipping into reality,
Each drop orchestrating,
Finely blended love, its breath upon my chin,
Eager nostrils, thirsting lips open with desire,
Creamy fragrance scintillating my senses,
My soul within a cup,
Offering my resolve to drink you,
One who measures out my life with every sip,
Steaming melody upon my satisfied tongue,
The prospect of java, full of promise,
A relationship between mind and mug,
Life’s elixir, wrapped in my warmest grip,
Just another pleasurable sip, an encore of life,
Harmony,
Filling the ceramic cup of the mind with liquid zeal,
Savoring each sip,
Prolonging each mouthful,
Taking time to dream,
A limited cup,
A goodbye,
Only the warmth remains.

I don't drink coffee but this description makes it sound pretty mouth-watering. I'm afraid to drink it in case I get addicted like in this poem. Ha Ha

This was a great poem. I like the use of different words to create a picture.

Wonderful -- reads like coffee and feels like skiing. Makes me miss the US and skiing!
