I am a Robot
I am a robot
I have been programmed as a certain individual,
with certain characteristics I cannot change
I feel so Alone in the need for someone to repair me - but there is no one
I hear a faint remark, and my senses awaken to the retort in hope for someone at last,
The reply dies away slowly as my hope does as well
Can there be no one who accepts me as I am?
I posses the knowledge of my imperfections
and understand that I do need repairs,
but those characteristics that show who I really am need not to be repaired
Can there be someone who accepts me as who I am?
