When I am waiting for you I find myself crying
When I think of you I find myself tearing up
Why do I feel this way
Why did you have to leave
I always try to be the people pleaser
Always trying to be the person who is looked up at
To be the person who seems to have it together
But I don’t
And that is what I want to change
Myself wants to be vulnerable
But my mind won’t let me
I have walls that protect and I stand not to tear them down
