Not just once

Not just once, but more have I had the feeling of great pain and sorrow.
Not just once, but more have I gone to sleep thinking of you.
Not just once, but many times have you broke my heart and came back like a dog stealing a bone out of its masters hand just to bring it back for them to play fetch.
Not just once but more have I waked up from a dream and came into a nightmare, like getting a cell phone for your birthday just to realize it was a toy.
Not once in awhile, but all the time will I want to be in control of my own life.
