When you are betrayed
By a deathly flu
So does it consume.
Warping reality in you

An infectious disease by nature
Your true self is pulled away
And through your anguish
The disease has it’s day.

The author's comments:
Sometimes an infection seems like much more than a simple organism, just trying to perpetuate itself. I wonder some times if they have personalities, and enjoy their destructive accomplishment.
