"Love all, trust few, do wrong to none." -William Shakespeare

Pieces of reality.
Little everyday tidbits,
their purpose, to assign a sense of
averageness to pain,
normalcy to confusion.
their purpose, to make us exist.
spurts of French in everyday language.
Bitten nails and
banged-up elbows.
Give them names.
tiny holes in too-tight socks
and wrinkles dollar bills.
Give them names, and recognize them.
chalk dust on hands, deep cuts on hearts.
give them names.
make us real.

I'm not really sure why I wrote this, how it created itself. The truth has many ways of finding itself, none of which we have discovered yet. I just hope you can see the light.
