Winter At Sight

The solemn brisk wind whistles through the trees
The attic creaks above
The lighted rooftops light the winter night sky
Snow falls endlessly from the sky
The white blanketed into the ground
Street lights create warms orange circles in the snow
Icicles reach to the cold ground
The sun begins to rise
Robins swoop to each dead tree
I wrap my self in a warm blanket
The fire dances quickly
I was waiting and it had come
It was finally winter
