Those Words.
Those words drip off my tongue like sweet acid
Few burn, few sting
Only to leave wounds unable to heal
To reach a pinnacle where they kill
When they slide down your tongue into your lungs
Seeping slowly into your heart
Stinging the empty chambers
Filling them with my bitter sweet utterances
Only to cause you to drop to your knees in pain
To cry tears of dead memories
To puke out empty and meaningless words
Draining from your heart into your skin
Causing your spine to twist
Like nails slowly and painfully cutting across a chalk board
Tearing more wounds into your almost angelic skin
They will never heal dear
So stop trying to play doctor
Those words drip off my tongue like sweet acid
I don’t love you.
