My Heart's Decision
December 20, 2009
while sitting here outside i stare at the moon and ponder
while my heart tries to decide what is best for me
but yet my mind tells me something else and
staring at the moon i cry
for what i lost and gained in this life
and i cry because of you and the way you make me feel
and i'm still here staring at the moon trying to figure out
what my heart is telling me
while my mind tells me differently
but now i come to realize that i must follow my heart
and allow myself to let go and move on
and as the moon sets
and the sun rises
comes a new day
