why do you hurt me
is it to impress someone
or is it just for pleasure

why would you hurt me
just to see the pain on my face
or to feel that triumph

why do i stay
is it to satisfy you
or am i just afraid

why would i stay
am i still in love
or am i just another puppet
forced to stay by your side

so tell me
why do you hurt me
