The soul will always be broken
If it does not know its path
And its true self

Two shadows will always be fighting
For its freedom and for the outcry it wants to be heard
That with the soul, the shadow prevailed
And with that shadow, it gives the identity of the soul

Until that outcry be heard
The soul is always in a cast of darkness
And there won’t be bliss
But sorrow in every gladness
In every sense that the soul feels

The soul, until then, be a shattered glass
That may not be unified until its inner spirit
Build its fragmented pieces

If the soul may not glimpse the light
May the spirit guide it
Through the endless sea of which
There is no shore to be found

If the shore may be found
May not the flesh
Be deterrent to the way
The soul may want to be

If the flesh hinders
The soul may never see
Its true inner spirit
