I once made a promise, to help my breaking heart, to try to keep together and prevent from falling apart..
My promise was like a vow, to give up guys, to put dating aside and stop telling myself lies.. i've kept my promise so far, i've managed to keep them out, i've pushed them all away, they dont stay long about.. but in my efforts to save my heart i fear i made it to strong.. now no one can get in, i fear i must have been wrong..i dont want to be alone, i just dont want the heartbreak, it seems that every guy ends up to be a jerk or a fake.. maybe i'll break my promise and let a special guy in, let down my defenses, my heart could be his to win... No thats just crazy talk, i'll just get in too deep.. i cant forget i made a promise, a promise i will always keep.
