\"The real trouble with reality is that there\'s no background music.\"

Neon eyes blink all around us
Waist deep in love, we forget who we want to be
And be who we are
Beautiful teardrops caress our cheeks with lullabies
We refuse to hide
We refuse to run

Blissful in the downpour of Heaven’s tears
We slow dance to the metronome of our hearts
Portrait façades’ plague our want to longer
We are all of who we can be

So pour us a glass of defiance
For the rebellion has begun
Drenched in the sent of idyllic
Sprinkled with a flavor of hope
Heavy feet grow lighter
We’ll unearth the ground and learn to race again

Wings lifted to scrape the sky
Cotton candy clouds pass idly
Life wouldn’t be the same without you

So basking in the carnival starlight
I’ll wait here alone for you all night
For you to take my heart and teach me to fly again.
