In the rose garden
There was a bargain
One life was taken
Another was given
The given life watched over
Until he was older
He began his journey alone
For his path was set in stone
The unexpected was his due
He fought bravely and true
Of the many battles he had
Quite a few were sad
In one love was lost
Loneliness was its cost
