Manipulator
I'm pulled up by strings
 As the puppeteer sings

My face frozen in a Cheshire cat grin
The one that invites you in

He makes me prance around the stage
 The audience laughs
 outside my cage

 The story continues
 What will happen next
What will happen to the marionette

 The monster comes
 but I can not run
What will become of me when he's done

 He slashes the curtains
 Torn and tattered
 I can not hide
 I trip on my stings
 Bruised and battered

 The battle rages
 And yet I stay
Waiting for the puppeteer to turn the page
