The falling of leaves
Brings darkness to the air
The day of Halloween
Leaves no candy to spare

As the growth of the green
From summer comes to an end
Daylight savings jumps us back
Giving an hour to lend

We get ready for the winter holidays
To the fullest we start living
But we must donate a day
For the holiday of Thanksgiving

The sky becomes gloomy,
Covering the streets with fog and mist
Along with bare trees and branches
As they are tortured and twist

Sometimes fall can be
Interpreted as death
As the leaves fall of the branches
And you start to see your breath

You must not worry,
For the life will nourish
Just wait for the spring
And the trees will refurbish

The howls of winds
Bring rosey cheeks and a runny nose
As in comes winter,
And as fall comes to a close.
