the gift is yours to keep

A vow I made:
my heart to keep-
my soul, my love, for you.
No tears, like razors, though
burning my cheeks,
will take this gift from you
I gave it freely;
a gift for life.
so do with it as you will,
But always remember:
if you throw it away-
I can't come back to you.
So dance free spirit,
and howl to the moon!
I'll always run with you:
paw step for paw step,
gait after gait:
watching over you.
A wraith I came,
A wraith I'll leave-
I'll always wait for you.
You're only weakness,
Is your belief:
But I'll always still love you.
