Everything is Nothing
The cold air blows
The wind howls
The snow falls
The streets become sheets of ice
The cold air surrounds
Nothing holds warmth
Nothing is familiar
Everything is nothing
In my world
There is no home
There is no safety
There is no color
There is no warmth
There is no family
There is no laughter
There is no love
I have heard of such things
But have never known
How I wish to know
How I long to be loved
How I crave to be held
But everything in my world is cold
Everything is vacant and lost
Everything is nothing
