Depression

November 2, 2009
Body cold-
goosebumps arise
from every inch.
Her heart is numb
and her eyes dry
because shes cried
every last drop.
Her everything
is empty.
Holding back
from bugging out
over the
littlest problem.
Walls block
the punches-
bracelets
block the
bruises.
Stinging
from within.
Her heart
is losing the
battle with
her lungs
to take just
one more breath.
Her mind is
erasing
every last
memory of
anything good,
though there
weren't many
to begin with.
The scars burst
releasing
what was needed.
Better again-
until next time.
Bitter words
and upset eyes
hide the
beautiful girl
trapped inside.
Eveything changes
Everyone fades.
She won't be
one of them.
She is
different.
