July 18, 1995
9 am and the waves are crashing along the shoreline
Beach toys and broken shells sprinkled on top of the sand
A hole has been dug by a father and his only daughter.
He sits comfortably on the cool sand
As the three year old circles him, leaving her tiny footprints behind
They play all morning as laughter fills the salted air.
Grandma shouts, "Look over here!"
Daddy makes a funny face
I giggle and jump on his back
The moment is captured in a tiny photograph.
