Tread softly, for you thread on my dreams.

Fire and smoke permeate the air
As his powerful arms swing
The hammer down
Across his arms weave veins like blue snakes
In such definition
They stand out against his bronze flesh
From his tanned face pulled into a snarl
Blaze twin orbs of gray blue filled with unquenchable rage
In the fire lit shack, he seems like a dragon
Full of wrath and fury
Passion and strength
Hands the color of his ebony hair
Have no fear as they mercilessly
Shape iron the color of the sunset
Into the shape he wishes for
In front of the fire he stands
Even Zeus could not be more glorious or terrifying
The brilliant hues of gold and red
Encase him
As the fire dances in his splendor
Upon clay bricks

I have a thing for blacksmiths and men who get hot and dirty.
