School
Schools are like the building blocks,
In which all the doors have chains and locks,
Oh, the sunshine seeps in through the cracks,
All of the books have broken backs,
The only time when the students can rejoice is when the final bell rings,
However, all to no avail for the bell still has yet to sing,
All the students can do is wait until they can be in the sun once more,
How sad because here no kids can ever soar.

Hope
I am hope,
I am what fills dreams with visions and meanings,
I am the light at the end of a long dark hallway,
I am what drives the intensity in determination,
I am the spirit, who never sleeps or rests,
The hope that never dies and is never harmed,
I am hope.
