Silly green tomato
just wont turn red
just looked sick all day
as it lay itself in bed

Silly green tomato
despite what had happened
got fed up one day
and was tired of being saddened

Silly green tomato
was sick of it all
and just rolled off the bed
despite knowing it would fall

Silly green tomato
just rolled out the door
even with the knowledge
of a dreadful down poor

Silly green tomato
decided to roll down the hill
and wont stop rolling
no it never will
