Unwelcomed
Unwanted
Angry snow scars rocks in its path
Water bribes with warmth
Promised
To shield the mountains of its wrath
Lonesome rock engulfed in water
Please to escape inevitable loss
Chilling screams yell “hotter hotter!”
Water replies with, “of you, I am boss”
Unable to keep
Mountains from creeping
Into the water
They drown themselves.
