Dearest Moon

I look into the midnight sky and see the moon. A moon so clear I shed a tear. For this bright dear moon reminds me of you. The one who my heart holds dear. It reminds me of the times we’ve shared, of times we hold dear. I’d pull down the moon and every little star to share one more moment with you. A moment that we would never forget. A moment when the world stops and time itself stands still. When worries of the past are washed away and things can start anew. This cold bright dear moon. I wonder if you are watching this dear moon and thinking of me. Wondering if my feelings are mirrored in you. Hoping they are. Even in the slightest. As I wipe away that single cold tear. I remember my dear and all is right.

I was inspired to write this because I had a lot on my mind and my eyes wandered up to the moon and I wondered, "is the one i love watching this too" and this is what came from it
