Watch the fire blaze as I know it’s
done before
Remember the days you cried and told
him nevermore
Taste the air of patience, as you’ve cut out
That piece of life
You feel the framed glass breaking, but
You’ll never cut the strife

Leave the fire’s blaze as I know it’s
done before
Forget the days you cried and told
him nevermore
Spit out the air of patience, as you’ve
Cut out that piece of life
You’ve bandaged the thin glass breaking,
But you’ll never be his wife
