In disguise hurting lives

Unknown user destroying young minds

Why be so vicious and cruel

Innocent kids exploring

Expecting to make new friends 

Only to end up insecure 

Why be so mean behind the screen 

When really you're just a puny teen 

Is it worth it

What do you find so good about it that you keep going 

Keep pouncing on your pray like a ferocious lion who hasn't eaten in days

Slowly starting to feel less and less worthy 

They start taking their lives because they can’t do it anymore 

Parents finding out when too late

Missing the signs because maybe it was just a bad day

Happening over and over again 

Ridding these lives when all they wanted was a friend 

Calling them worthless and telling them they aren't loved

Making them feel bad for the things they haven't done 

Convincing them that the world is better off without them

Making them wish they could just die 

But why 

When in the end

All they wanted was a friend
