A Spoonful

Returning home after a

               Long

                     Night out

I set aside my

                Phone

                   Wallet

And keys on a near table

Before heading into the kitchen

I turn on my TV and pick out a movie

Afterwards

                    I march into the kitchen

Conjuring up a bowl of milk and cereal

     I yank my drawer

And

          there

                   I

                      See it

The last clean spoon for this eventful night

This poem was part of a task for school where my english class and a art class came together to pair an art piece and a poem to compliment eachother. With this, I was tasked with writing a poem for an art piece that depicted a classic metal spoon.
