The Way The Girl Covers Up
Anxiety, it is her monster that will get out
It goes deep inside her, it is her center
Her very core of existence
Fear, that it will overcome her,
surpass her shadow,
Her normality
It eats away what she has built up, without a care
The years that she has changed and morphed herself
Into a creature of perfection in her brain
Her thoughts scramble,
She is reading peoples eyes, she can see into them
They cannot do the same to her
She generalizes, because she feels satisfaction
Satisfaction when everything is in place
As it should be
She is nieve,
She doesn’t understand the world,
The world thinks it understands her
No, she is just a mere reflection of her perfection
they will never see her core,
Her sociopathic heart and everlasting will to be superior
And she acknowledges that
Shadows
the things we want the world to see
However shadows change within the hour
Heart
Can be painted over
Molded
Shaped
As clay would be
She builds her own walls
Only to have them be torn down
By the monster within her,
Myself.
